Inter Agencies Task Force

General

In pursuance of the decision taken by the Prime Minister dated 3rd February, 2010, an Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Narcotics Control with clearly spelt objective and scope was constituted.

Scope

The Task Force members will meet preferably on quarterly basis to assess the performance of all LEAs coordinate efforts and resources, with a view to implementing the strategy. All members nominated by the heads of relevant agencies departments as focal persons shall attend the meeting and present reports of their performance. The performance of each department will be compiled and a report will be sent to the respective head of the department on regular basis.

Secretariat

The secretariat of the Task Force is located in the ANF HQ Rawalpindi. Director Enforcement is incharge of the Secretariat under the overall control of DG ANF. He coordinates all operations, reports and returns, analyze the performance of the LEAs and advises the DG ANF accordingly to bring improvement.
